What Is Idaho Score?
Idaho Score is a standalone voter resource that rates every elected official in Idaho — legislators, sheriffs, county commissioners, city council members, and statewide executives — from a transparent, conservative, Idaho-first perspective.
Unlike existing indexes, Idaho Score covers ALL elected official types, publishes its full methodology, and never cherry-picks which votes count. We also track judges through Idaho Judicial Watch — something no other Idaho accountability site does.
We are openly conservative and Idaho-first. We rate every elected official in Idaho on 2nd Amendment defense, immigration enforcement, property rights, parental rights, and other conservative ideals. We don't hide that. And we don't hide any vote, any official, or any record. Not perfect — always changing, never gospel. We put the record in your hands.
Who We Are
Idaho Score is a project of the Idaho Fidelity Foundation (IFF) — an independent, Idaho-first accountability organization. We are not affiliated with any political party, PAC, lobbyist group, or elected official. No one controls our ratings except the public record.
IFF also operates the Idaho Ledger — a civic accountability journalism platform tracking every bill through the Idaho legislative session — and the LEO Accountability Project, which tracks law enforcement agencies testifying against Idaho-first legislation.
Our Taglines
- "Every official. Every vote. No exceptions." — primary tagline
- "We're biased toward Idaho. We score everyone." — hero subtext
- "Always changing, never gospel." — methodology tagline
- "Fidelity to Idaho. Not to anyone's agenda." — org tagline
What Makes Us Different
The Idaho Freedom Foundation only rates state legislators. We rate all 5 office types — including sheriffs, which no other index tracks. Their methodology is opaque. Ours is published in full. They do single-year snapshots. We do 6-year career timelines that expose drift. They don't have a public tip system. We do.
We are openly conservative and Idaho-first. That's more honest than pretending to be neutral while quietly having a thumb on the scale. Voters can trust a source that tells them exactly what it is.
Contact & Tips
If you see something that belongs on the record — a vote, an action, a document — submit a tip. Every submission is reviewed by our editors. We publish what we did with it and why.
